What can you do for rodent control

Educate yourself on rodent proofing.

Sanitation!!!  Keep your house and yard clean and clutter free.

Seal dryer vents

Cover crawl space vents

Seal off all exterior lines leading through walls, and cap chimneys.

All door threshold must be no more that 0.25in/6mm wide.

Garage doors are particularly prone to rodent entry if not kept completely sealed.

Store all garbage and trash in metal or heavy plastic containers with a tight fitting lid.

Keep trash area clean.

Exclude rodents from entering your home by closing all entry points. Close holes using concrete.

Keep pet food stored in rodent-proof containers.  Remove all excess pet food.

Keep pet areas clean and free from droppings.

Never leave pet food out overnight.

Be discrete when feeding wildlife.

Repair all leaks inside and outside your home.

Seal off all cracks and crevices inside and outside your home.

Keep your landscape and lawn trimmed.  Trim back bushes away from your house.

Remove clutter from inside and outside your home.

Store items at least 18 inches off of the ground and away from walls and fences.

Inspect your property often for signs of gnawing, feces, and burrows.
